Photograph the overall work area
Show where the work sits within the site, wall or slab. Include a view of the access route and one closer view of the proposed cut or opening. Avoid relying only on a close-up that gives no scale or context.
Mark cut locations and dimensions
Use a clear plan or photograph to identify proposed locations and label dimensions in millimetres. Distinguish confirmed requirements from sketches still being reviewed. Keep original project drawings available and identify the revision relevant to the enquiry.
Show equipment access and removal constraints
Photograph equipment access, floor levels, neighbouring structures and the material-removal route where relevant. Explain work windows and occupied areas in the description. State when a photograph cannot show important structural or embedded-service information.
Follow the enquiry form’s attachment instructions
The hosted enquiry form displays its attachment instructions. Follow those limits and send only project-relevant information you are authorised to share. If a file cannot be attached, call or email the office to arrange another method; selecting a file is not proof of delivery.
Your enquiry checklist
- Overall site view and close-up of the work
- Marked locations and dimensions
- Access and removal-route photographs
- Relevant current drawing revision
Send what you know and identify details still being confirmed. These guides help describe a project; the agreed site-specific scope determines the work.
