Define concrete work for the plant change
Show the opening, penetration or concrete removal needed for the project. Send drawings, quantities and photographs that distinguish the work from the retained plant and building. State whether the enquiry relates to installation, refurbishment or a staged modification.
Coordinate operational areas and shutdown windows
Explain operating areas, access permissions and any planned shutdown or work window. Identify who coordinates isolation, site approvals and the interface with other trades. Equipment positioning and attendance need review against those arrangements rather than a general availability promise.
Check equipment and material-handling routes
Include doorways, ramps, floor levels, working heights and available handling space. Tell the office how sections or debris will leave the area. Confirm support, removal, waste handling and making-good responsibilities as individual scope items.
Your enquiry checklist
- Plant/building modification drawings
- Work quantities and concrete dimensions
- Operational windows and access requirements
- Handling route and scope responsibilities
Send what you know and identify details still being confirmed. These guides help describe a project; the agreed site-specific scope determines the work.
