Scope & site requirements

Site-support enquiries address investigation before cutting and slurry handling associated with wet cutting or grinding. Define these as part of the project plan, with clear requirements for method, coverage, treatment, records and responsibility for the next step.

Before you enquire

  • Identify the cutting, drilling or grinding work being supported.
  • Provide investigation requirements or slurry-source and volume information.
  • Agree reporting, interpretation, collection, treatment and final-handling responsibilities.

Site support FAQs

These answers help you prepare an enquiry. For requirements specific to your site, talk to the office.

Discuss your project
When should site-support requirements be discussed?

Include them while defining the cutting, drilling or grinding scope. Early information about investigation, collection and treatment helps the team review how the packages fit together.

Does location work confirm that a cut is structurally approved?

No. Investigation and location information support the project review, but do not replace structural design or required approval for the proposed opening or cut.

Does slurry treatment include its final disposal?

Collection, treatment, transport and disposal are separate scope items. Identify the tasks required and the destinations for separated liquid and solids so responsibilities can be agreed.

Can site-support services be included with other Quickcore work?

Describe the combined requirements in one enquiry and identify any packages supplied by others. The office will review method, access, programme and responsibilities before confirming the scope.
