Concrete-service and project-scope definitions

Core drilling
A service used to create circular penetrations in concrete. An enquiry should state diameter, quantity, location and known thickness.Core drilling
Wall sawing
Straight-line cutting for openings and alterations in concrete walls. The layout, access and handling of cut sections define the enquiry.Wall sawing
Hand & ring sawing
Methods for localised concrete cuts, edges and opening alterations. Required depth, material and workspace guide method selection.Hand & ring sawing
Road sawing
Straight-line cutting in accessible concrete slabs and pavement. A quote enquiry needs the cut layout, total lengths and required depths.Road sawing
Wire sawing
Cutting with diamond wire to separate substantial or complex concrete sections. Access, support and the removal sequence are reviewed together.Wire sawing
Robotic demolition
Concrete-breaking work using remotely operated specialist equipment, with access, retained structures and debris handling reviewed for the package.Robotic demolition
Rock splitting
Breaking rock into sections for handling and removal. Material, exposed area, excavation limits and adjoining structures affect suitability.Rock splitting
Runway grooving
Forming a specified pattern of channels in airfield pavement. Geometry, treatment boundaries and acceptance follow the project specification.Runway grooving
Highway grinding
Removing material from a pavement surface as a specified treatment. Existing condition, treatment extent and acceptance criteria define the scope.Highway grinding
Slurry recycling
Separating liquid and solids from cutting or grinding slurry using treatment such as a filter press. Reuse and disposal require their own agreed arrangements.Slurry recycling
Concrete scanning & location
Pre-cutting investigation discussed with the project’s available structural and services information. It is not automatic clearance to cut.Concrete scanning & location
Penetration
An opening passing through a concrete element, often described by diameter, location, quantity and thickness.Core drilling
Scope
The agreed description of tasks, boundaries, quantities and responsibilities for the proposed work.
Mobilisation
The travel, equipment movement and setup arrangements considered for a project, particularly regional or interstate work.
Reinstatement
Follow-on work to make good or restore an affected area. It is included only where expressly agreed in the scope.
Work window
The period the project makes available for access, setup, the defined work and handover. It is not a booking confirmation.
