Penetrations for building services
Pipe, cable and duct routes may need circular core holes or larger openings. A coordinated opening schedule should identify the finished size, quantity and position of each item. Tie those requirements to the current services layout and identify the trade responsible for installation.
Wall openings and refurbishment
New doorways, service openings and concrete modifications need a clear distinction between retained and removed elements. Include the relevant structural design, wall or slab dimensions and access to the work faces. Wall, hand/ring or wire sawing may be reviewed against those conditions.
Selective demolition and section handling
Cutting, breaking and removal are different stages of a building alteration. Describe support, lifting, handling space and the route out for sections or debris. Identify which tasks the project has arranged and which need to be considered in the quote.
Access, occupied areas and handover
Show the equipment route, floor levels and working height, including loading areas and shared spaces. State permitted hours and the interface with occupied rooms or other trades. Confirm investigation, service isolation, slurry handling and reinstatement responsibilities before agreeing the work.
